Property Manager

The Property Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a large residential portfolio made up of several nearby buildings. This role requires a strong leader who can effectively manage multiple buildings, supervise onsite staff, maintain high operational standards, and ensure the community is operating efficiently. The ideal candidate will be organized, hands-on, professional, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Oversee the daily operations of several residential buildings within the portfolio Supervise, support, and develop onsite staff Handle employee relations matters, including coaching, mentoring, performance management, and attendance oversight Maintain strong resident relations and respond to concerns in a professional and timely manner Oversee community communications and support resident satisfaction initiatives Coordinate with maintenance teams, vendors, and contractors to ensure the buildings are well maintained Walk buildings and vacant units regularly to assess property and operational needs Schedule and attend required inspections Review and code bills appropriately Coordinate unit turns, make-readies, and move-out processes Complete and analyze weekly and monthly reports as required Ensure compliance with company policies, safety expectations, and legal requirements Respond to emergencies and be available to work weekends or on call when needed

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of property management experience At least 3 years of supervisory experience, including oversight of 10 or more employees, strongly preferred Experience overseeing large residential communities or multiple buildings strongly preferred Proven ability to manage staff in a fast-paced, hands-on environment Strong leadership, organizational, and follow-through skills Excellent customer service and resident relations skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred due to regular communication with Spanish-speaking staff Proficiency with Microsoft Office required Familiarity with Yardi software is a plus Strong working knowledge of building systems is a plus
