Full Job Description Job Purpose:
The Housing Manager at
STATE OF THE ART HEALING LLC
will oversee and manage residential facilities, ensuring smooth operations and a safe, welcoming environment for all residents. This role involves coordinating housing services, maintaining property standards, and fostering a supportive community atmosphere. The Housing Manager will work closely with residents, staff, and external partners to enhance the living experience and uphold the organization's commitment to excellence in healing and wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of residential facilities, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Coordinate housing services, including maintenance, repairs, and housekeeping, to maintain high standards of living conditions. Develop and implement housing policies and procedures to enhance service delivery and resident satisfaction. Manage resident relations, addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly and effectively. Collaborate with other departments to support resident programs and activities that promote community engagement and well-being. Conduct regular inspections of housing units and common areas to ensure safety, cleanliness, and functionality. Prepare and manage the housing budget, monitoring expenses and optimizing resource allocation. Lead and supervise housing staff, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations. Maintain accurate records and reports related to housing operations, occupancy, and resident interactions. Foster a positive and inclusive community atmosphere, promoting respect, cooperation, and mutual support among residents.
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Social Work, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered.
Required Experience:
Minimum of three (3) years of progressive experience in residential operations, housing management, facilities coordination, or program operations within behavioral health, addiction recovery, healthcare, or supportive housing environments required. Demonstrated experience in managing housing facilities, including budgeting, maintenance, and tenant relations. Proven track record of effectively leading and managing a team in a housing or real estate environment. Experience working with diverse populations and understanding of fair housing laws and regulations. Working knowledge of
HIPAA, 42 CFR
Part 2, and residential program confidentiality expectations required. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel between housing locations required.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with a wide range of stakeholders. Proficient in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex situations and make informed decisions. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Knowledge of local, state, and federal housing regulations and compliance requirements. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
