Community Support Specialist (CSS) Job Summary TeamBuilders Behavioral Health is seeking a compassionate and motivated Community Support Specialist (CSS) to join our team in Taos, NM. In this role, you will provide direct, community-based support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges, helping them build skills, access resources, and improve their overall quality of life. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a difference and enjoys working one-on-one with clients in a dynamic, community setting. Key Responsibilities Provide individualized support services in home and community settings Assist clients with developing daily living skills, coping strategies, and independence Connect clients to community resources (housing, employment, healthcare, etc.) Support treatment plan goals in collaboration with clinical team members Provide crisis support and de-escalation when needed Maintain accurate and timely documentation Transport clients as needed to appointments or services Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required (Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred) Experience in behavioral health, social services, or a related field preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation Able to pass a background check Benefits Competitive pay (based on experience) Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) + Paid Holidays 401(k) with company match Mileage reimbursement for community-based work Flexible scheduling to support work-life balance Ongoing training and professional development Opportunities for career growth within the organization Supportive, mission-driven team environment Why Join TeamBuilders?
