Job Description

Job description Regional Property Management Company is seeking a skilled Property Manager for our Capital District Assets.
  • Works well with the team to ensure seamless operations of the Albany portfolio of 300+ apartments and commercial spaces.
  • Enjoys a fast paced work environment and possesses superior communication and problem solving skills
  • Ensures all rents are paid on-time
  • Contacts newly signed tenants to arrange move-in date
  • Serves as the go to person for tenant questions
  • Communicates all building related information/updates to tenants
  • Conducts and reports in depth weekly site inspections of properties
  • Makes recommendations for property improvements
  • Stays current on all open maintenance tickets
  • Follows up on closed tickets to ensure tenant satisfaction
  • Issues legally binding notices for late rent tenants
  • Begins eviction process when necessary
  • Contacts tenants 90 days prior to lease end date to secure renewal
  • Drafts all renewal paperwork and coordinates signatures
  • Communicates non-renewals with supervisor
  • Prepares annual budget for each asset in portfolio
  • Be able to lift 20 lbs
  • Must be on site 5 days a week
  • Walk properties daily to fully understand needs of both residents and maintenance/cleaning staff.
  • Is available with drivers license to handle emergency situations at any time of day or night if necessary
Requirements:
  • Must be a master at multi-tasking, have strong attention to detail and be well organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Yardi a plus
  • Excellent customer service and follow-up skills
  • Solid and consistent work history with excellent references
  • Team oriented, self-motivated and a positive attitude
  • Previous experience in the Property Management field is important
