Review and interpret contract terms, conditions, and obligations to ensure compliance and mitigate contractual risks. Provide guidance on contractual rights, obligations, and claims to project teams and management. Oversee tender evaluation, procurement strategies, and negotiation of subcontracts and supplier agreements. Manage variation orders, progress claims, extensions of time, and final account settlements. Advise on contract law matters, cost exposure, and potential disputes, ensuring timely resolution. Monitor project cost performance and support cost control initiatives. Liaise closely with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders on contractual and commercial issues. Prepare and review contractual correspondences and documentation to safeguard company interests. Mentor and provide direction to QS and contract administration staff. Requirements Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or related discipline. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in contract administration and commercial management Proven track record in managing commercial or institutional building projects Strong knowledge of contract law, PSSCOC, and public sector procurement frameworks.
