Assistant Property Manager / Leasing Consultant Confidential Kingston, NY 12401 $25 an hour - Full-time $25 an hour - Full-time What We're Looking For A positive, energetic professional who enjoys building relationships, creating great first impressions, and helping prospective residents find a place to call home. We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and customer-focused Leasing Consultant/Assistant Property Manager to join our team! The ideal candidate will have prior property management experience, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and be a self-starter. Responsibilities Conduct apartment tours and effectively showcase community amenities and apartment homes Respond promptly to leasing inquiries and follow up with prospective residents Secure lease applications and assist prospects through the leasing process Process applications, lease renewals, and resident paperwork Maintain strong occupancy levels through proactive leasing and resident retention efforts Provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective residents Assist with resident communications, notices, and follow-up Coordinate move-ins and move-outs to ensure a positive resident experience Handle marketing and outreach efforts to generate leasing traffic Assist with rent collection and general office administration Partner with maintenance staff to ensure apartments are ready for new residents Support the Property Manager with day-to-day operations as necessary Qualifications Minimum 1 year of apartment leasing experience preferred Strong sales and customer service skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks Proficient with Microsoft Office and property management software
