About Us CPA Building Management is a growing property management company overseeing residential, mixed-use, condominium and cooperative properties throughout Long Island and New York City. We are seeking a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to support our daily operations and help provide exceptional service to our residents, boards, owners, and vendors. Position Summary The Assistant Property Manager will work closely with the Property Manager and ownership team to assist with administrative, accounting, resident relations, maintenance coordination, and property management tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow within the property management industry. Preferred Qualifications Fluent in both English and Spanish (strongly preferred) Experience with AppFolio (preferred) Experience with QuickBooks or other accounting/property management software Bookkeeping or accounting experience Property management experience is a plus Strong customer service and communication skills Excellent organizational and time-management abilities Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively Professional demeanor when interacting with residents, vendors, and board members Responsibilities Assist with day-to-day management of residential, mixed-use and Condo/Co-op properties Respond to resident inquiries and service requests Coordinate maintenance and repairs with vendors and building staff Track work orders and follow up to ensure completion Assist with lease administration, renewals, and tenant communications Process invoices and assist with accounts payable and receivable Maintain property records and resident files Assist with bookkeeping and financial reporting Prepare notices, letters, and communications to residents Support board meetings and property inspections as needed Answer phones and provide administrative support to management Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Paid time off Opportunity for growth within a rapidly expanding management company Training and professional development opportunities Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is dependable, personable, and eager to learn.
