New York, NY Position Overview:
The Assistant Property Manager supports the daily operations of residential and/or commercial properties, ensuring efficient management, tenant satisfaction, and compliance with NYC regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Tenant Relations:
Respond promptly to tenant inquiries, complaints, and maintenance requests. Assist with lease renewals, move-ins, and move-outs. Help coordinate tenant communications, notices, and community updates.
Administrative Support:
Prepare and process leases, renewals, and related documentation. Maintain accurate tenant files and property records.
Financial Management:
Track vendor invoices and support the approval process.
Maintenance Coordination:
Schedule and follow up on repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance. Communicate with vendors, contractors, and maintenance staff. Monitor work orders to ensure timely completion and quality service.
Compliance & Safety:
Ensure adherence to building codes, safety standards, and local regulations. Assist with property inspections and documentation.
Qualifications:
1-3 years of property management or real estate experience (NYC experience preferred). Strong knowledge of NYC rent regulations and housing laws a plus. Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Yardi, MRI). Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Associates or bachelor's degree. Full time office attendance required Monday

  • 5 pm 5 Days a week in Office
