Responsibilities:
The Senior Community Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations to ensure policies, procedures, and programs are effectively implemented. This role focuses on maintaining a well-managed property, prioritizing resident satisfaction, environmental health and safety, and high-quality service delivery in alignment with CRM and ownership objectives. Oversee the day-to-day operations of properties and staff, including management of annual operating budgets and sales/marketing plans. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and funding programs (e.g., HUD, LIHTC, RD), including maintaining accurate resident files and preparing for inspections and audits. Coordinate and participate in property tours and audits with agencies, investors, and auditors. Monitor property office performance to ensure timely completion of required tasks such as recertifications, vouchers, and EIV processing. Train, supervise, and motivate on-site staff, while managing performance and personnel development. Oversee public relations, resident engagement, contract administration, and operational reporting, including statistical analysis. Senior Community Manager - Qualifications Associate's degree preferred. 3-5 years of experience in affordable property management required. Minimum of 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role. Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) designation required. ARM, C3P, Tax Credit, and LIHTC certifications preferred. STAR certification, if applicable. Experience with Tax Credit and Section 8 programs. Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong computer skills required.
