Residence Manager | I/DD Services | Residential Program Leadership

Salary Range:

$65k-$75k (varies depending on years of experience) A well-established human services organization is seeking compassionate and experienced Residence Managers to oversee residential programs supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Westchester County, NY. Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day operational oversight for residential homes serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Supervise, mentor, and support Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and residential staff while fostering a positive team culture. Coordinate staffing schedules to ensure appropriate coverage across all shifts, including weekends, overnights, and holidays as needed. Conduct employee coaching sessions, staff meetings, performance evaluations, and ongoing training initiatives. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and support the development and implementation of individualized service plans and treatment goals. Ensure compliance with state, federal, and agency regulations related to health, safety, documentation, and residential care standards. Oversee incident management follow-up, documentation accuracy, and quality assurance processes. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized residential environment while coordinating maintenance and household needs. Monitor petty cash, resident finances, purchasing, and household inventory in accordance with agency procedures. Support recreational programming and community engagement opportunities tailored to residents' interests and goals. Utilize electronic systems and documentation platforms to maintain accurate records and operational efficiency. Provide direct care support and transportation assistance when necessary.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience required. At least 2 years of experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) required. Comfortable using electronic documentation systems and basic computer applications. Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
