Job Description

Secure Detention Supervisor (4914) Together for Youth $65,500.00 / yr United States, York, Valhalla Jun 05, 2026 Description Job Requirements Bachelors' degree in human services, plus four (4) years of full-time paid experience in an detention or residential setting working with youth and young adults aged 10-20; including at least two (2) years functioning in a supervisory capacity OR High school Diploma or equivalent six (8) years of full-time paid experience in an in detention or residential setting working with youth and young adults aged 10 - 20 including at least two (2) years functioning in a supervisory capacity. Must be able to work a flexible schedule with variable hours including day, evening, weekend, holiday and subject to on call hours. Require a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle. Travel is required. Ability to coordinate and plan travel for visits and appointments in an efficient manner. Ability to work with an economically and culturally diverse population.
Skills:
demonstrated communication skills, both oral and written, including attention to detail; capable of working in a stressful environment; ability to become TCI, First/Aid CPR certified.
