Our House Managers play a critical role in shaping positive outcomes for both the individuals we support and the teams they lead. What You'll Do Program & Residential Oversight Oversee daily operations of the residential home Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive living environment Ensure implementation of Individual Service Plans (ISPs) Coordinate medical, behavioral, and community supports Monitor health and safety needs, medication oversight, and incident prevention Staff Leadership & Supervision Supervise, coach, and support Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) Assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management Provide guidance and model person-centered care practices Promote accountability, teamwork, and employee engagement Compliance & Documentation Ensure compliance with Ohio DODD regulations and Medicaid waiver requirements Review and oversee documentation including: Daily notes MARs Incident reports ISP data collection Participate in audits, reviews, and compliance monitoring Ensure incidents are addressed and reported appropriately Individual & Family Support Serve as a primary point of contact for families, guardians, and SSA/Case Managers Support individuals in building independence and community involvement Advocate for individual rights, dignity, and informed choice Administrative Responsibilities Manage household supplies, petty cash, and basic budgeting Coordinate appointments, transportation, and activities Assist with staffing coverage when needed to ensure continuity of care What We're Looking For We're seeking leaders who are: Compassionate and dependable Organized and solution-focused Strong communicators and team builders Knowledgeable in person-centered practices Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Passionate about improving the lives of others Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Associate or bachelor's degree in human services or related field preferred 2-3 years of experience in developmental disabilities or residential services preferred Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred Knowledge of Ohio DODD rules and Medicaid waiver services strongly preferred Valid Ohio driver's license with acceptable driving record Ability to pass required background checks and trainings Physical & Work Requirements Ability to assist individuals with mobility, personal care, and daily living activities Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as needed Lead With Purpose As a Residential House Manager, you are more than a supervisor — you are a mentor, advocate, problem solver, and leader who helps create a stable and empowering home environment for individuals with developmental disabilities.
