Job Description

Community Services Coordinator CORE, Inc. welcomes applicants for our Community Services Coordinator position opening. The Community Services Coordinator (Home Manager) is a vital position responsible for overseeing CORE staff in serving each individual with developmental disabilities. Must have a heart for helping others, creative skills in supporting adults with developmental disabilities within their strengths, while managing people and a budget. Responsibilities and Duties The Community Services Coordinator (CSC) is primarily responsible for areas of programming, household environment, management of Direct Support Professionals (DSP), and providing for the health, safety, and welfare of adults with developmental disabilities. The person in this position has the responsibility to further coordinate a variety of services including but not limited to: formal programs, individual finances, recreation, health services, family involvement, education/vocational programs, and any other supports/services necessary to ensure active participation in all aspects of the community. This position is on-call at all times to receive emergency calls unless prior arrangements have been made for someone with comparable authority to assume this responsibility. The person in this position must be responsible, reliable and be able to carry out job functions independently without on-going supervision. In addition, he/she must be able to work a schedule that accommodates the needs of the home including providing direct care when needed/required. This position is also responsible for staffing emergencies which may arise.
