Safe Harbor Home Healthcare is seeking an experienced, dedicated, and motivated House Manager to oversee the daily operations of a residential home supporting individuals with behavioral needs. This position is ideal for an experienced leader who is passionate about providing high-quality care while building strong teams and maintaining operational excellence. The House Manager plays a critical leadership role by ensuring exceptional client care, maintaining compliance with Individual Service Plans (ISPs), supervising Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), and ensuring all state regulations and company standards are consistently met. This position requires a hands-on leader who can effectively manage challenging situations, support behavioral clients with dignity and respect, and create a structured, safe, and positive environment for both clients and staff. We are seeking an experienced manager with previous leadership experience who understands the importance of accountability, professionalism, communication, and leading by example. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting behavioral individuals, managing teams in residential or healthcare settings, and maintaining high standards for quality care and compliance.
What You'll Do:
Lead the daily operations of a residential home serving behavioral clients Supervise, coach, mentor, and hold DSP staff accountable for performance and expectations Ensure client care is delivered according to Individual Service Plans (ISPs) Coordinate healthcare appointments, medication oversight, documentation, and client services Manage staffing schedules and ensure appropriate coverage is maintained at all times Maintain compliance with Ohio regulations, company policies, and safety standards Respond effectively to behavioral situations, emergencies, and operational challenges Maintain accurate documentation including incident reports, medication records, and communication logs Promote a culture of professionalism, accountability, teamwork, and person-centered care
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
Minimum High School Diploma or GED required Minimum 2 years supervisory or management experience in healthcare, behavioral health, residential care, or related field preferred Previous experience supporting individuals with behavioral needs strongly preferred Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current insurance required Must pass background screening, drug screening, and physical examination First Aid, CPR, and Medication Administration certification required (traininng provided) Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Why Join Safe Harbor?
