Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Property Manager to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of our residential and commercial properties. This role is vital in ensuring properties are well-maintained, compliant with safety standards, and provide exceptional living and working environments for tenants and clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, technical knowledge of facilities systems, and a passion for delivering outstanding service. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of property operations, including maintenance, tenant relations, leasing, and safety compliance. Oversee facilities management activities such as HVAC systems, electrical systems (including high and low voltage), mechanical equipment, and industrial maintenance. Coordinate maintenance schedules using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to ensure timely repairs and inspections. Supervise maintenance staff and contractors, providing leadership and guidance to ensure high-quality work. Review schematics and technical manuals related to programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical wiring, and mechanical systems to troubleshoot issues effectively. Monitor building systems using tools like ohmmeters for electrical diagnostics and ensure adherence to safety standards. Lead project management efforts for upgrades or renovations, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential issues related to HVAC, electrical wiring (including high voltage), or mechanical components. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, safety inspections, and compliance documentation. Foster excellent communication with tenants, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues swiftly and enhance overall property performance. Experience Proven management experience in facilities or property management roles with supervisory responsibilities. Strong mechanical knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical (high voltage and low voltage), schematics reading, and industrial maintenance practices. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and CMMS software for managing maintenance workflows. Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting using tools like ohmmeters; familiarity with schematics is highly desirable. Background in manufacturing or industrial environments is a plus due to the technical nature of systems involved. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
