8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Are you an organized, detail-oriented professional with a passion for property management? Do you thrive in an environment where no two days are the same? If so, we want you on our team! About the Role As an Assistant Property Manager, you will play a vital role in the success of Normandy Manor Apartments and the 29 single-family homes in Lake County. You'll support the Property Manager in daily operations, ensuring efficient financial management, top-tier customer service, and smooth community operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
Processing invoices, rent payments, fees, and bank deposits Leasing apartments and single-family homes in the portfolio Managing resident renewals and lease agreements Preparing monthly close-out and financial reports Performing account reconciliations and financial tracking in Yardi Voyager What You Bring to the
Table Experience:
1-2 years in property management, leasing, bookkeeping, or related operations
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Tech-Savvy:
Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook); Yardi Voyager experience a plus
People Skills:
Exceptional communication, customer service, and negotiation abilities Attention to
Detail:
Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management skills
Legal Know-How:
Understanding of Fair Housing laws and multi-family housing regulations
Driver's License:
Must have a valid license and an acceptable driving record with a reliable car to use during the workday Background checks: Must pass a background check and drug test, including marijuana.
