This role involves engaging with residents, overseeing property operations, ensuring compliance with housing regulations, and fostering a welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, excellent communication skills, and a strong background in property management to create positive experiences for residents and team members alike. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a thriving community setting. Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional customer service. Oversee leasing activities, including property tours, upselling available units, and processing lease agreements using property management software such as Yardi or OneSite. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 guidelines, and other relevant legal standards by maintaining accurate records and conducting regular audits. Manage property administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, contract management, and maintaining accurate leasing and maintenance records. Coordinate property maintenance and facilities management to ensure the community remains safe, clean, and well-maintained. Handle conflict management between residents or staff professionally and efficiently to foster a harmonious living environment. Assist with rent collection, lease renewals, and tenant screening processes while adhering to legal requirements like landlord-tenant law. Support property marketing efforts through effective sales techniques and customer relationship management strategies to attract prospective residents. Experience Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles, ideally within multifamily housing communities. Proficiency in property management software such as Rent Manager. Strong knowledge of Fair Housing regulations, landlord-tenant law, contracts, and legal administrative procedures. Excellent customer service skills combined with phone etiquette and conflict resolution abilities. Demonstrated ability in sales, upselling units or services, negotiation skills, and contract management. Office experience involving data entry, filing systems, facilities management coordination, and general administrative support.
