Program Statement:
Matt Talbot for Men and Matt Talbot for Women are gender specific residential substance use disorder treatment programs for adults who are struggling with addiction and may also have a co-occurring mental health condition.
Responsibilities:
Linkage to sober housing Linkage to community mental health and addiction providers for continuity care Linkage to resources to support movement toward independent functioning (i.e. benefits) Accompanying individuals to a variety of appointments in the community as needed (i.e. court dates, medical appointments)
Requirements :
Combination of education and experience normally represented by a Bachelor's Degree and one to two years related professional experience. Must have competent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. Must be well organized, detail oriented and have the ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to work with diverse client population, community organizations as well as staff at all levels. Must be able to form good working and therapeutic relationships. Final applicant is required to be fingerprinted to complete background check Applicants of Catholic Charities must provide three references; two professional (one must be a previous supervisor) and the third one can be personal.
