Client Services Director Job Purpose:
This position is responsible for the oversight and supervision of operations in residential settings. This position is a management position involving supervision of Residential Coordinators (RC) and Direct Support Professionals (DSP). Essential functions, duties & responsibilities:
  • Monitors to ensure services are being provided in accordance with the Individual Service Plan and intended outcomes.
  • Participate in team meetings, including, but not limited to, annual meetings, quarterly meetings, special team meetings, and plan revision meetings.
  • Collaborate with Residential Coordinator and the rest of the team to ensure the health and safety of all residents.
  • Review of ISP documentation
  • Review residential cleaning logs
  • Check incidental money logs and other financial logs
  • Ensure that food stamps are used by designated date
  • Read log/elogs books in homes weekly
  • Ensure completion of fire drills and severe weather drills
  • Scheduling
  • Schedule staff for calamity days/sick days
  • Monitor clock-in/clock-out times
  • Monitor staffing ratios
  • Scheduling oil changes and maintenance for vehicles
  • Training and writing disciplinary forms for DSPs & RCs (Approved by Client Services Director or Human Resources Officer)
  • Perform 90-day reviews and staff evaluations (Approved by Client Services Director or Human Resources Coordinator)
  • Work a minimum of 40 hours weekly regularly scheduled shifts in direct care capacity in assigned sites.
  • Have an open line of communication with Client Services Director Qualifications and specific job requirements:
  • Must have a high school diploma or
G.E.D. A
bachelor's degree in human services or education field is preferred. Minimum of three years of experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities and two years of supervision experience.
  • Must have or be willing to obtain all certifications required for employment by DODD and renew them annually or as required.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds and perform physical assistance and intervention tasks.
  • Must have and maintain current driver's license and driving record according to insurance and regulatory requirements.
  • Must possess basic skills for following written and verbal instructions, and for communicating client and job-related issues orally and in writing.
  • Must adhere to all HIPAA regulations at all times.
  • Adheres to all local, state, and federal laws and Scioto Residential Services Inc., Policies and Procedures.
  • Must be able to work variable scheduled days and hours, including holidays and weekends.
  • Completes all other duties assigned by the Client Services Director and CEO
  • May be exposed to challenging behaviors that may cause injury and require intervention techniques.
  • May be exposed to infectious disease.
  • May be exposed to chemicals commonly found in the office, residential or workshop environment such as toner, cleaning substances, oil, etc.
