Job Description

Job Summary:
Ground Works Land Design is seeking an experienced Account Manager with a strong background in landscaping, property maintenance, and client relationship management. This is not an entry-level role. We are looking for someone who understands the landscaping industry, can confidently communicate with both residential and commercial clients, and can help drive long-term customer retention and growth. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for maintenance clients while also identifying enhancement opportunities and helping ensure projects are executed at a high level. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, relationship-driven, and understands the day-to-day realities of landscaping operations. Pay Range:
$60,000 - $70,000 base salary + commission, earning potential 100k+ annually

Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for landscape maintenance clients and maintain strong long-term relationships. Conduct regular site visits to assess property conditions, quality standards, and client satisfaction. Identify and sell landscape enhancement opportunities including mulch, plantings, drainage, lighting, turf, hardscape repairs, and seasonal improvements. Prepare and present estimates and proposals for enhancement work in a timely manner. Collaborate closely with production managers, foremen, and design teams to ensure services are delivered efficiently and professionally. Manage client expectations, resolve concerns, and maintain a high level of communication throughout the season. Monitor account profitability, renewal opportunities, and service quality. Maintain accurate CRM documentation and account notes. Assist with snow and ice management communication during winter operations as needed. Represent Ground Works Land Design professionally in the field and within the community. Qualifications /
Experience:
Minimum 3+ years of experience in landscaping, property maintenance, account management, or related outdoor service industries required. Strong understanding of landscaping operations, plant material, seasonal maintenance, and enhancement services. Previous experience working for a landscaping or outdoor living company strongly preferred. Ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently while managing multiple accounts and priorities. Experience with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and estimating/project management software preferred. Valid driver's license with clean driving record required.
