Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Property Management professional, where you will oversee the daily operations of residential or commercial properties, ensuring they are maintained to the highest standards and meet all regulatory requirements. Your role will involve managing tenant relations, lease administration, property maintenance, and compliance with fair housing laws. This position offers an exciting opportunity to coordinate property activities, enhance tenant satisfaction, and support the overall success of our property portfolio through proactive management and exceptional customer service. Duties Manage lease agreements, including renewals, terminations, and negotiations, ensuring compliance with legal and contractual obligations such as LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) and Section 8 programs Oversee property leasing processes from marketing units to prospective tenants through effective upselling techniques and customer relationship management Coordinate property maintenance and facilities management activities to ensure properties are safe, functional, and visually appealing using tools like Yardi, OneSite, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) Handle legal administrative tasks related to landlord-tenant law, contracts, and Fair Housing regulations with transparency and accuracy Conduct regular property inspections to identify repair needs and oversee vendor or contractor work while maintaining detailed records of all activities Resolve tenant conflicts promptly through conflict management strategies while maintaining positive relationships Maintain accurate data entry, filing systems, and administrative records related to property operations and tenant files Provide exceptional customer service by addressing tenant inquiries via phone etiquette and fostering a welcoming environment for all residents Qualifications Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with a strong understanding of landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations Familiarity with property management software such as Yardi, OneSite, or similar platforms for leasing, accounting, and maintenance tracking Knowledge of LIHTC programs, Section 8 housing policies, and related compliance requirements Strong negotiation skills combined with experience in contracts management and upselling techniques Excellent conflict management abilities along with professional office experience including data entry, filing, and administrative support Demonstrated customer service skills with a focus on phone etiquette and relationship building Ability to handle facilities management tasks including property maintenance coordination using CMMS or equivalent tools Valid experience in legal administrative functions related to real estate or property leasing is highly desirable Join us in creating vibrant communities by managing properties efficiently while delivering outstanding service. $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
