This role ensures the home runs efficiently, staff and vendors are coordinated effectively, and the property is maintained to the highest standards. The House Manager serves as the primary point of contact for household operations while maintaining discretion, professionalism, and exceptional attention to detail. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesHousehold Operations Manage day-to-day household activities and ensure smooth operation of the residence. Develop and maintain household schedules, routines, and procedures. Coordinate household events, family gatherings, and special occasions. Ensure the home is clean, organized, and maintained to established standards. Oversee inventory of household supplies and place orders as needed. Vendor and Contractor Management Manage relationships with service providers, contractors, and vendors. Schedule and oversee maintenance, repairs, renovations, and inspections. Obtain quotes and coordinate projects while monitoring budgets and timelines. Ensure all work is completed satisfactorily and professionally. Property Maintenance Conduct routine inspections of the residence and grounds. Coordinate preventative maintenance programs. Monitor security systems and ensure the safety of residents and property. Address maintenance issues promptly and efficiently. Personal Assistance Coordinate travel arrangements and itineraries as requested. Manage calendars, appointments, and household schedules. Assist with errands, shopping, and special requests. Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. QualificationsEducation & Experience 3-5 years of experience in household management, hospitality management, estate management, or a related field. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Exceptional organizational and time-management skills. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. High level of discretion and confidentiality. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Customer service mindset with attention to detail. Physical Requirements Ability to walk throughout the property and inspect various areas. Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally. Work Environment Work is performed in a private residence and surrounding property. Requires a professional appearance and demeanor at all times. May involve occasional travel and attendance at household events. Must maintain strict confidentiality regarding household and family matters. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Household operations run smoothly and efficiently. Property maintenance issues are resolved promptly. Resident satisfaction and service quality remain exceptionally high.
