The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent customer service abilities, and experience managing occupancy, compliance, resident relations, maintenance coordination, and financial performance. Experience with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), affordable housing, HUD, or Section 8 programs is highly preferred. Must be Bi-lingual. The Property Manager will be responsible for maintaining the overall success of the property while ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local housing regulations and company policies. Responsibilities Property Operations Oversee all day-to-day operations of the multifamily property Ensure the property is maintained to company standards and remains clean, safe, and professionally managed Supervise office staff, leasing personnel, and maintenance coordination Monitor occupancy levels, leasing activity, renewals, and resident retention efforts Conduct regular property inspections and ensure curb appeal standards are maintained Coordinate and oversee vendor relationships, maintenance scheduling, and capital improvement projects Leasing & Resident Relations Manage leasing efforts and support occupancy goals Review and approve rental applications, lease agreements, renewals, and move-in/move-out documentation Address resident concerns, complaints, and conflict resolution professionally and promptly Foster positive resident relationships and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction Ensure all resident communications are handled professionally and efficiently Compliance & Financial Management Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws, landlord-tenant regulations, and company policies Maintain knowledge and oversight of LIHTC compliance requirements, income certifications, recertifications, and file audits Assist with rent collections, delinquency management, notices, and payment agreements Monitor property budgets, expenses, invoices, and financial reporting Prepare and submit required reports accurately and on time Maintain organized and accurate resident and property records using property management software Team Leadership Train, mentor, and support on-site staff Promote a positive and productive team environment Assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and employee development as needed Lead by example through professionalism, accountability, and strong communication Qualifications Required Qualifications Previous Property Management experience in multifamily housing Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills Excellent customer service and communication abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Professional phone etiquette and administrative skills Basic computer proficiency and experience with property management software Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Preferred Qualifications Bilingual (English/Spanish Required) Experience managing LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) properties Knowledge of HUD, Section 8, and affordable housing programs Familiarity with Fair Housing laws and landlord-tenant regulations Experience with budgeting, collections, and financial reporting CAM certification or other industry certifications are a plus Why Join Us?
