Job Description
Residential Support Coordinator (Program Manager) - Gresham/SE Portland - schedule TBD! Community Services Inc is looking for an energetic and experienced leader to who can provide compassionate leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure the day to day operations of two 24-hour homes for adults with developmental disabilities in the Portland area, with one being in Gresham and the other in SE Portland. Help some pretty awesome people live their best life by managing and overseeing the activities and support staff in their home.
Duties include:
Hiring, training, scheduling and supervising direct support staff. Ensuring State, Federal, Local and Company regulations and policies are followed. Managing house budgets Assisting residents to manage their money Ensuring the health, safety and wellness of people receiving services Providing direct care support when needed. Developing individualized support plans and protocols for people receiving services. Developing and cultivating positive relationships with families and other stakeholders. Payroll Cultivating an environment of respect, fun and safety both for the residents and for staff. Providing after hours support to direct support staff as needed. Don't worry, no 24/7 on-call responsibilities here. Work-life balance is a priority at CSI. Weekend on-call responsibilities is shared among the team. Don't worry about knowing how to do all these things, we will teach you! HOW will we know if you're the right person for the job? You're at least 18 years old You have at least 2 years' experience working with people with disabilities or in a related field in a leadership role. You support and respect people with disabilities directing their own lives. You are an effective, respectful and professional communicator, and like coaching staff. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are able to handle diverse simultaneous tasks. You possess a positive, can-do attitude but aren't afraid to ask for help. You consistently meet your deadlines and pay close attention to detail. You are able to pass a background check. You have a current Oregon or Washington Driver's License and an acceptable driving record. You are the type of leader who isn't afraid to do the same work you ask of your employees.
