Job Description

Job Summary The Assistant Property Manager supports the daily operations of residential communities under the direction of the Resident Manager. This role assists with leasing, resident relations, administrative functions, and maintenance coordination, while serving as a key resource for residents, vendors, and team members. The Assistant Property Manager may also assume responsibility for property operations in the Property Manager's absence. Key Responsibilities Provide office coverage, including answering phones and showing apartments Assist with leasing, applications, renewals, and move-in/move-out processes Maintain accurate resident records and generate required reports Support hiring, training, and supervision of onsite staff Conduct regular property walks and report maintenance or safety concerns Respond to resident inquiries professionally and in compliance with Fair Housing laws Support resident retention efforts and maintain positive resident relations Follow all company policies and directives from the Resident Manager Qualifications Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment Basic math and administrative skills Knowledge of leasing and property operations preferred Professional appearance and demeanor Team-oriented with integrity and reliability Requirements Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance Ability to pass a background check Ability to pass Fair Housing testing Ability to meet physical demands of the role (walking, lifting, bending)

$28.00 - $31.00 per hour
