This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead property management activities, coordinate maintenance, and foster positive relationships with residents, vendors, and community stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and possess a strong background in property management, legal administrative processes, and customer service. Your leadership will be vital in ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 programs, and other relevant housing laws while driving occupancy and revenue growth. Duties Manage all aspects of property operations including leasing, rent collection, and tenant relations to maximize occupancy and satisfaction. Oversee property leasing activities by conducting tours, screening applicants, negotiating lease agreements, and upselling available units to prospective tenants. Utilize property management software such as OneSite for data entry, rent processing, reporting, and maintaining accurate records of tenant files, contracts, and legal documentation. Handle legal administrative tasks including lease drafting, contract review, filing legal documents, and managing dispute resolution or conflict management situations professionally. Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure cleanliness, safety standards are met, and preventative maintenance is scheduled efficiently. Maintain excellent customer service by addressing tenant inquiries promptly via phone or in person while demonstrating professional phone etiquette and conflict resolution skills. Develop relationships with tenants through effective communication strategies to support retention efforts and identify opportunities for upselling additional services or amenities. Qualifications Proven experience in property management with a focus on residential properties; real estate administrative experience is highly desirable. Proficiency in property management software such as OneSite, or similar platforms; familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) preferred. Excellent organizational skills including data entry, filing systems, and office experience necessary for managing contracts and legal documents efficiently. Demonstrated ability in conflict management and negotiation to resolve tenant issues effectively while maintaining positive relationships. Customer service-oriented mindset with strong communication skills including phone etiquette and professional demeanor. Administrative experience supporting leasing activities or real estate operations is a plus; familiarity with Landlord-tenant law essential for compliance purposes.
