Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and strategic General Manager - Commercial/Retail to lead our property operations, leasing initiatives, and tenant relations within a dynamic commercial and retail environment. This pivotal role involves overseeing property management activities, driving revenue growth through effective leasing and upselling, ensuring compliance, and fostering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in leasing, real estate administration, and facilities management, combined with a passion for delivering outstanding tenant experiences and operational excellence. Duties Lead the overall management of commercial and retail properties, ensuring optimal occupancy, lease negotiations, and tenant retention. Develop and implement leasing opportunities Oversee property maintenance, facilities management, and vendor relationships to ensure properties are well-maintained, safe, and compliant with legal standards. Manage administrative processes including contracts, lease agreements, and tenant rent collections. Utilize property management software for data entry, reporting, and operational tracking. Handle conflict management situations professionally, resolving tenant issues promptly while maintaining positive relationships. Coordinate property inspections, repairs, and maintenance schedules Provide exceptional customer service through effective phone etiquette, customer relationship management (CRM), and email etiquette. Maintain accurate filing systems for legal documents, lease agreements, maintenance records, and compliance documentation. Support administrative functions such as data entry, office correspondence, and filing to ensure smooth daily operations. Skills Leasing knowledge Proficiency in property management software Proven experience in a real estate context. Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to negotiate effectively and resolve disputes amicably. Solid background in property maintenance coordination and facilities management practices. Exceptional customer service skills coupled with professional phone etiquette and CRM expertise. Office experience involving data entry, filing systems, contract management, and general administrative support. $63,466.62 - $76,432.91 per year
