Unit Manager•Residential Mental Health (Children & Youth) Erie, PA | Full-Time | Mental Health | Leadership | Impact Lead. Support. Change Lives. Sarah A. Reed Children's Center is looking for a skilled, compassionate Unit Manager to oversee one of our residential treatment units for children and teens (ages 5-18). This is a high-impact leadership role focused on staff supervision, daily operations, client care, and crisis management. What You'll Do Lead, coach, and support a team of direct care staff Ensure safe, structured, trauma-informed care for youth Collaborate with clinicians on treatment planning Manage schedules, documentation, and shift coverage Lead crisis interventions and ensure safety protocols Oversee programming, compliance, and unit performance You Bring Bachelor's in social services or related field 3+ years of direct care or supervisory experience Confidence in decision-making and calm under pressure Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills Commitment to inclusion and equity in care
