Job Description
LANCASTER COUNTY, PA
who are motivated to make a difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual disabilities (IDD) whom are residing in their own homes. House Managers are responsible for providing guidance and leadership within the two or three residential homes that they would oversee through the implementation of person-centered practices. We are actively seeking strong leaders that are motivated to help implement change and growth in the people they support and the staff they are supervising!HIRING IMMEDIATELY!
Responsibilities:
Working to promote the use of person-centered practices in the programs that will be overseen. Adhering to and ensuring compliance in relation to the 6400 regulations in each of the homes that are supervised. Provide guidance, oversight and mentoring to direct care staff. Attend and participate in weekly management meetings as well as programmatic meetings in relation to the individual's that you support. Reconciliation and oversight of petty cash, MARs, daily documentation. Completion of monthly paperwork Oversight and completion of medical appointments Demonstrate excellent communication skills with supervisor as well as direct care staff Completion of 40 hours of initial new hire training and annually thereafter Direct Care as neededQualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess these qualifications: Education- High School Diploma or GED. College degree in human services is preferred 1 year experience in human services and/or a supervisory role Age
- 18 years or older Ability to drive
- valid PA Driver's License Completion of Background checks as outlined per state regulations Health-Certification from a licensed independent practitioner that the candidate is free from communicable disease.
Hiring Needs:
House Manager typical schedule is Monday-Friday 830am-430pm. Programmatic needs may vary and may result in working weekends, holidays, etc. as needed.Benefits:
