AM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an educational location. Monitor access points and verify identification, credentials, and/or visitor authorization for students, staff, faculty, guests, and vendors entering the location. Control entry and exit activity at assigned posts, document visitor and delivery information, and report unusual activity or access concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with access restrictions, crowd direction, and/or campus-related protocol during special events or emergencies. Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age. Access control and badge experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
