As a Neurodiversity Specialist, you will serve as a residential leader responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, supervising staff, and ensuring the consistent delivery of person-centered supports within your assigned home. In this role, you will provide direct leadership to residential teams, including scheduling, performance oversight, coaching, and staff development. You will ensure compliance with regulatory standards, coordinate administrative systems, and maintain accountability across all aspects of service delivery. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines supervision, operational management, and direct support to the individuals served. This position requires shift work in the home, administrative responsibilities, on-call availability, and participation in a weekend rotation. Flexibility is essential, including availability for days, evenings, weekends, and emergency coverage. Why Lead at Emmaus Home? ✔ Competitive salary & benefits ✔ Paid time off ✔ Flexible scheduling ✔ 401(k) with company match ✔ Professional development & training opportunities ✔ Career growth in a supportive, mission-driven environment Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Staff Supervision Serve as the primary leader within the residential setting, overseeing daily staff performance and ensuring quality service delivery Supervise, schedule, and provide ongoing guidance to Direct Support Professionals and Primary Leads Provide coaching, performance feedback, and disciplinary support in collaboration with HR Lead onboarding, training, and shadow shifts for new staff Promote accountability, teamwork, and adherence to agency policies and procedures Serve as the main point of contact for staff within the home Residential Operations & Compliance Oversee all residential administrative systems and ensure regulatory compliance Delegate and monitor administrative tasks to ensure accuracy and completion Conduct audits of financial records, medication records (MARs), service notes, and required documentation Manage scheduling systems, calendars, and resident appointments Coordinate maintenance requests, inventory, safety checks, and required inspections Ensure completion of fire safety procedures, drills, and required compliance activities Collaborate with internal teams to maintain accurate records and reporting Individual Support & Program Coordination Support implementation of individualized care plans and Community Participation Support (CPS) schedules Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams during ISP meetings and care planning Oversee nutrition planning, grocery coordination, and household organization Ensure individuals receive consistent, person-centered supports aligned with their goals Advocate for inclusion, independence, and community participation Direct Support & On-Call Responsibilities Provide direct care and hands-on support to individuals as needed Follow behavior support plans and assist with daily living activities Respond to emergencies, staffing shortages, and urgent residential needs Participate in on-call rotation, including evenings and weekends Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., special education, psychology, social work) Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism Prior leadership or supervisory experience in residential or human services settings preferred Strong understanding of person-centered practices and regulatory requirements Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills Ability to manage staff performance and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Flexible availability, including shift work, on-call responsibilities, and weekend rotation Our Commitment to Inclusion Emmaus Home is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering a diverse, respectful, and inclusive workplace where all employees are treated with dignity and support.
