Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Assistant Property Manager to support our property management team in overseeing residential and commercial properties. We are looking for a dedicated individual who is eager to learn the industry from the ground up and build a lasting career with us. This role offers an excellent opportunity for candidates with or without a background in real estate administration, property leasing, and customer service to contribute to the efficient operation of our properties. While previous property management experience is a plus, we prioritize a strong work ethic that thrives in a dynamic environment; eager to take on a growing list of responsibilities as Bluestem expands and evolves. This position is integral to maintaining high tenant satisfaction, and supporting property maintenance and leasing activities. Duties Assist in managing daily operations of multiple properties, including leasing, renewals, and tenant relations Coordinate property showings and lease signings, upselling available units and amenities to prospective tenants Maintain accurate data entry and filing of lease agreements, contracts, and legal documents Manage tenant inquiries via phone and email with professional office etiquette; resolve conflicts effectively Oversee property maintenance requests in collaboration with facilities management teams using management software systems Assist in preparing reports related to occupancy rates, rent collections, and property performance metrics Support administrative processes related to lease agreements, evictions, or contractual disputes Conduct regular inspections and ensure properties meet safety standards and regulatory compliance Qualifications Have reliable transportation - Mileage Reimbursed Have a smartphone - Stipend Paid College degree not required Proficiency in computer/software skills Office experience preferred Excellent customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and conflict management abilities Ability to handle data entry accurately and manage filing systems efficiently Experience in facilities management or maintenance coordination is a plus Strong negotiation skills for lease agreements and contract discussions Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities effectively within a fast-paced environment Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to uphold confidentiality at all times This role provides an engaging environment for professionals passionate about property management and customer service. The Assistant Property Manager will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of our properties while fostering positive relationships with tenants and vendors alike.
Pay:
$20.00 - $26.00 per hour
