Hybrid Job Summary:
This position provides frontline leadership and supervision to clinicians and crisis staff who deliver immediate, community-based support to children, youth, and families experiencing behavioral health crises. The Crisis/MRSS Supervisor plays a vital role in ensuring high-quality services, supporting staff development, maintaining program compliance, and helping families access the care they need when they need it most.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Staff Leadership & Development Provide supervision, coaching, mentoring, and support to Crisis and MRSS staff Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training of new employees Conduct regular supervision meetings and field-based coaching Support staff development through performance feedback and professional growth opportunities Facilitate debriefings following critical incidents and crisis events Assist with scheduling and coverage coordination Clinical & Program Oversight Provide consultation regarding risk assessment, safety planning, and crisis intervention Support staff responding to community-based behavioral health crises Monitor service quality, documentation, productivity, and program compliance Review cases and assist with coordination of care Help ensure timely response to referrals and service requests Collaborate with families, schools, hospitals, community partners, and referral sources Quality & Operations Participate in quality improvement initiatives, chart reviews, and case consultations Monitor program performance and assist with implementation of best practices Support compliance with state, agency, and contractual requirements Participate in supervisory and management on-call responsibilities
Qualifications:
Required Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field Ohio behavioral health license (LSW, LPC, or higher) Minimum three years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families Experience in crisis intervention, mobile crisis, emergency services, residential treatment, or related behavioral health settings Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Preferred Master's degree in a behavioral health field Independent licensure (LISW, LPCC, IMFT, or equivalent) Previous supervisory or leadership experience Experience with Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (MRSS) For list of benefits, visit our Job Openings page Interested in applying?
