June 1, 2026 Position Overview The Field Manager serves a defined geographic area within Lower Westchester County. Success in this role comes from building strong volunteer teams, growing youth participation, and delivering high-quality Scouting programs throughout the community. Key Responsibilities Recruit, train, and support volunteers and community leaders to deliver Scouting programs Build relationships with schools, community organizations, and local partners to grow membership Achieve participation goals for camps, activities, and programs Ensure all units receive consistent support through meetings, trainings, and events Maintain strong communication with volunteers, families, and community stakeholders Represent Scouting as a positive role model in the community Desired Skills Strong public speaking and interpersonal skills Self-motivated with excellent time management and organization Ability to build relationships with diverse groups Background in nonprofit work, sales, or marketing is a plus High level of professionalism and ethical standards Requirements Must meet Scouting America leadership and membership standards and subscribe to the Scout Oath and Law Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Must be 21 years or older College degree preferred Compensation and Benefits Hourly position to start at $25.00 per hour, based on experience After a period of time, there is an opportunity to transition into a salaried position based on performance Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, life insurance, and retirement plan with matching Paid time off and professional development opportunities Car stipend and mileage reimbursement Technology stipend Schedule Monday to Friday Nights and weekends as needed Location Hybrid remote role serving Lower Westchester County Must be able to reliably commute within the service area
