This position will drive and operate our Mobile Micro Closet, coordinate site visits, and help distribute clothing with dignity and care. It also includes volunteer coordination and the opportunity to learn a wide range of hands-on nonprofit skills on the job. Position Summary The Mobile Micro Closet Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the mobile clothing closet, including transporting the unit to partner sites, setting up and distributing clothing, and ensuring a welcoming experience for every person served. This role will also help recruit, train, and support volunteers during outreach events and mobile distributions. Key Responsibilities Drive and operate the Mobile Micro Closet to scheduled community locations. Set up and manage clothing distribution events. Greet and serve clients with kindness, dignity, and respect. Coordinate with site partners and nonprofit staff to ensure smooth outreach efforts. Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise volunteers as needed. Track supplies, clothing inventory, and event needs. Assist with basic reporting, organization, and follow-up after events. Learn and grow in other areas of nonprofit operations as needed. Qualifications Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Reliable, organized, and able to work independently. Strong communication and people skills. Ability to lead volunteers and work well with a team. Comfortable working in a faith-based nonprofit environment. Willingness to learn new skills and take on new responsibilities. Physical ability to lift, carry, and move clothing and supplies as needed. Preferred Experience Volunteer coordination or team leadership. Community outreach, nonprofit work, or customer service. Experience driving larger vehicles or working mobile programs.
