Operations & Property Management Assistant Simon & Simon Construction - 5.0 Los Angeles, CA Job Details Full-time $22 - $28 an hour 1 hour ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Vision insurance Qualifications Spanish Google Workspace Office management Property management Office experience Full Job Description About the Role You'll be the operational backbone of a growing real estate portfolio in Los Angeles — handling property management, tenant communications, contractor payments, office administration, and executive support.
This is a hybrid role:
part property management operations, part executive assistant. You'll run the office when the owner is on job sites, which is often. This role requires zero hand-holding. What You'll Own Tenant portal management (DoorLoop) — applications, leases, rent collection, maintenance requests, notices Contractor and vendor tracking — logging invoices, payments, contracts, and change orders Expense tracking and filing — coded by property Tenant notices and compliance documentation Managing the handyman's daily schedule — coordinating which properties he's at, what he's working on, and flagging any scheduling conflicts Hiring support — posting jobs, screening applicants, scheduling interviews Executive assistant duties — ordering supplies, managing calendar, filing, keeping the office organized AI-assisted workflows — you will use AI tools daily to draft communications, summarize documents, and process information faster You Are Highly organized and self-directed — you don't wait to be told what to do next Google Suite fluent — Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Calendar is your daily environment Comfortable with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) — not afraid of them, preferably already using them A clear written communicator — your emails and notices sound professional Reliable under low supervision — you perform the same whether or not anyone is watching Detail-oriented with numbers and documents — nothing falls through the cracks Comfortable wearing multiple hats — you understand that in a small office, everyone pitches in Bonus Points Prior property management or real estate office experience Familiarity with Section 8 /
HACLA Bilingual English/Spanish Compensation:
$22-$28/hr depending on experience. Full-time. In-office, LA.
Pay:
$22.00 - $28.00 per hour
