Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Residential Habilitation Administrator to lead and oversee the daily operations of our residential care programs. This vital role involves managing staff, ensuring quality care for residents, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and experience in senior or long-term care environments. As a key leader, you will foster a positive, safe, and nurturing environment that promotes independence and well-being for residents. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the activities of direct care staff, ensuring high-quality service delivery aligned with individualized care plans. Develop, implement, and monitor resident care plans tailored to each individual's needs, including Alzheimer's and dementia care. Oversee medication administration procedures, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and legal requirements. Manage daily operations of the residence, including budgeting, staffing schedules, and resource allocation to optimize efficiency. Conduct regular staff training on assisted living practices, safety procedures, and regulatory compliance. Maintain detailed documentation of resident progress, incident reports, and care activities to ensure transparency and accountability. Foster strong relationships with residents' families, healthcare providers, and community resources to support holistic care. Requirements Proven experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or group home settings with a focus on senior or long-term care. Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills in managing diverse teams within home & community care environments. Extensive knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory support strategies, and developmentally disabled populations. Strong understanding of care planning processes, medication management, and regulatory standards related to residential care. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to oversee operations management tasks such as budgeting and resource planning. Background in social work or related fields is preferred; financial acumen is a plus. Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and external agencies while maintaining a positive attitude.
