Based in our Providence region, this professional will play a vital role in supporting daily property operations, navigating program compliance, and serving as a key point of contact for our diverse resident community. Hourly Rate:
$21.00 - $23.00 per hour Responsibilities of the Bilingual Assistant Property Manager
Resident Relations:
Act as a primary point of contact for residents, leveraging bilingual skills to provide clear communication, address inquiries, and resolve localized concerns.
Leasing & Intake:
Assist with marketing open units, conducting property tours, managing the waiting list, and processing new tenant applications.
Compliance Support:
Partner with the Property Manager to complete timely tenant certifications, annual recertifications, and maintain organized compliance files under LIHTC, Section 8, and HUD guidelines.
Financial Assistance:
Help monitor monthly rent collections, log incoming payments, track delinquencies, and prepare administrative notices.
Maintenance Tracking:
Receive, enter, and prioritize resident work orders, coordinating closely with the maintenance team and vendors for swift resolution.
Administrative Accuracy:
Keep physical and digital resident records meticulously organized to ensure the site remains audit-ready at all times. Requirements of the Bilingual Assistant Property Manager
Experience:
1-3 years of experience in property management, leasing, or residential administrative support; previous experience in affordable housing is highly desirable.
Language Skills:
Full professional fluency in both English and Spanish (written and verbal) is strictly required to effectively support our resident population.
Regulatory Awareness:
Familiarity with or a strong foundational knowledge of LIHTC, Section 8, and Fair Housing regulations.
Communication:
Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills with a compassionate, patient approach to community support.
Software Proficiency:
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office; direct experience with property management software such as Yardi, RealPage, or MRI is a significant advantage.
Organization:
