OVERVIEW A
well-established multifamily ownership and management company is seeking an experienced Regional Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of 1,200+ market-rate apartment units across the Charleston region. This leadership role is responsible for driving operational performance, financial results, occupancy, resident satisfaction, and team development across multiple communities. This opportunity is ideal for a strategic and hands-on multifamily leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys mentoring Property Managers, and can successfully balance financial performance with strong resident and team experiences. WHAT YOU'LL DO
Oversee daily operations across a portfolio of multifamily apartment communities Lead, mentor, and support onsite Property Managers, leasing teams, and maintenance leadership Drive occupancy, resident retention, rental revenue growth, and NOI performance across the region Review financial reporting, budgets, variance reporting, collections, and operational KPIs Conduct regular property inspections and operational audits to ensure consistency and quality standards Support capital improvement planning, special projects, and operational initiatives across the portfolio Collaborate with leadership on revenue optimization, marketing strategy, and leasing performance Oversee budgeting processes, purchasing controls, and expense management initiatives Ensure company policies, operational procedures, and customer service standards are consistently followed Support recruiting, hiring, training, and development of onsite teams Participate in operational meetings, leadership initiatives, and portfolio planning discussions Maintain strong communication with executive leadership regarding portfolio performance and operational priorities

WHAT IT TAKES
8-10+ years of multifamily property management experience Prior regional or multi-site management experience required Strong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, collections, and NOI management Proven leadership experience managing onsite operations, leasing, and maintenance teams Experience improving occupancy, resident retention, and operational efficiency across multiple assets Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and make sound operational decisions under pressure Construction or capital project experience preferred Proficiency with property management systems and Microsoft Office required Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the region as needed
