Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic property management team as an Assistant Property Manager and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and exceptional service delivery of our residential communities. This energetic position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your expertise in property leasing, tenant relations, and administrative management while supporting the overall success of our properties. You will be instrumental in maintaining compliance with Fair Housing regulations, managing lease agreements, and fostering positive relationships with residents and vendors alike. Responsibilities Assist in managing daily property operations, including leasing, rent collection, and maintenance coordination Support lease administration processes, including data entry, filing, and contract management using Yardi and OneSite property management software Handle tenant inquiries with professionalism via phone, email, and in person, ensuring excellent customer service and conflict resolution Conduct property tours for prospective tenants, upselling available units and amenities to maximize occupancy rates Ensure compliance with Section 8 housing programs, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), Fair Housing laws, and other legal regulations Coordinate property maintenance requests and facilities management tasks using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) tools Assist with legal administrative tasks related to landlord-tenant law, lease agreements, and contract negotiations Qualifications Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with a focus on leasing or tenant relations Familiarity with Yardi, OneSite, or similar property management systems; experience with LIHTC and Section 8 programs is highly desirable Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, and legal administrative procedures Excellent customer service skills coupled with effective conflict management and negotiation abilities Office experience including data entry, filing, phone etiquette, and document handling Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated skills in facilities management, property maintenance coordination, and upselling techniques Embark on a rewarding career where your proactive approach and dedication can make a real difference!
