This energetic role offers a fantastic opportunity to support property operations, enhance resident satisfaction, and ensure compliance with housing regulations. You will assist in managing day-to-day property activities, coordinate leasing efforts, and uphold the highest standards of customer service. Your proactive approach and organizational skills will contribute to a thriving community environment, making a positive impact on residents and team members alike. Duties Support property managers in overseeing leasing activities, including property tours, upselling units, and processing applications using Yardi or OneSite property management software. Assist with tenant relations by addressing inquiries, resolving conflicts through effective conflict management strategies, and ensuring excellent customer service. Coordinate property maintenance requests and facilities management tasks to ensure properties are well-maintained and compliant with safety standards. Maintain accurate data entry, filing, and recordkeeping related to leasing contracts, legal documentation, and compliance with Fair Housing regulations. Help manage rent collections, Section 8 voucher processing, and LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) compliance procedures. Support legal administrative tasks such as reviewing lease agreements, contracts, and landlord-tenant law adherence. Participate in property marketing efforts through sales initiatives and customer relationship management to attract prospective residents. Assist with office administrative duties including phone etiquette, filing systems, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) updates, and general clerical support. Qualifications Previous experience in real estate administrative roles or property management is highly desirable. Knowledge of LIHTC programs, Section 8 housing vouchers, Fair Housing regulations, and landlord-tenant law is essential. Proficiency with Yardi or OneSite property management software; experience with CMMS systems is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle conflict management professionally and effectively. Office experience involving data entry, filing, contracts review, and legal administrative tasks. Excellent negotiation skills for lease renewals and upselling opportunities. Familiarity with facilities management practices and property maintenance coordination. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and attention to detail.
