For over 20 years, our team has owned and operated apartments. We are successful because we are able to offer consistent service to both our residents and our clients as a result of our ability to recruit, hire and retain the apartment industry's most talented people. We are looking for an experienced and motivated leasing agent to join our team in the Charleston metro area. This position will be responsible for the leasing activity of two of our communities in the North Charleston submarket. We offer an excellent work environment, competitive pay and benefit package.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Warmly greets visitors, prospective renters, and current residents, and vendors.
• Conduct tours with potential residents, and supply them with marketing materials, and current availability.
• Conducts applicant screening process as directed by the property manager
• Coordinates move-in dates, materials, and processes.
• Prepares leases for property managers review and approval; obtains signatures from management and residents.
• Develop and implements marketing strategies to attract renters.
• Assists with recordkeeping, filing, bookkeeping, and paperwork as required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Outgoing, friendly attitude and ability to make others feel welcome and comfortable.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with good sales and customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel).

Ability to learn and operate Entrata.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer and stans and walking, giving tours, and meeting with potential tenants.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
• Must be able to traverse a variety of properties with stairs in a variety of weather.
• Must be able to work Saturday's.

Pay:

$53,000 to $58,000 annually with incentives
