Job Description

Job description: Community Manager We are looking for a skilled Community Manager to oversee all daily functions of a multi-family apartment community that is in lease-up. This person will be a professional, experienced team leader who has the ability to supervise staff and work well under pressure while meeting the goals of our property. Responsibilities Schedule, supervise and direct the daily activities of all on-site staff. Create an atmosphere of cooperation, enthusiasm, service urgency, teamwork, customer satisfaction, and professionalism among staff members. Manage fiscal budgetary compliance to approved operation budgets. Inspect property daily to ensure a quality presentation of the community. Maintain resident relationships, take ownership of resident complaints and problems relating to service and lease provisions and work to swiftly resolve. Provide effective marketing and communications, advise management of pertinent issues as related to the community, market, or other respective issues. Show and lease apartments, handle telephone inquiries. Collaborate with Regional Manager to assess changes in rental market through analysis of customer traffic and rental records. Plan, promote and implement effective Resident Retention initiatives. Organize and participate in events to build community and boost brand awareness. Provide exceptional service to all customers, residents and vendors. Qualifications/Skills Lease-Up Super Star Excellent written and verbal communication. Ability to meet deadlines and address time-sensitive issues. Conflict resolution skills. Superior multi-tasking skills. Ability to provide high-level customer service with astute attention to detail and organization. Lead as a coach and be a team player. Ability to manage workflow amid shifting priorities. Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements High school diploma or GED required. CAM, CAPS or a Real Estate license is a plus. Demonstrated success in managing a lease-up is heavily preferred.
