Companion House Manager Journeys In Community Living - 3.0 Murfreesboro, TN Job Details Full-time 18 hours ago Qualifications CPR Certification Working with individuals with disabilities High school diploma or GED Live-in employment experience First Aid Certification Direct support Class D Working with adults with disabilities Full Job Description Companion-House Manager (Live-In) Make a Difference Every Day We are seeking a compassionate, dependable Companion-House Manager (CHM) to support women with disabilities in a residential setting. This is a live-in position where you'll play a key role in improving quality of life while leading and supporting a team of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). What You'll Do Support people with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, meals, mobility, etc.) Lead, train, and coach DSP staff to deliver high-quality, person-centered care Create staff schedules and ensure proper coverage Oversee medications, documentation, and compliance with care plans Help people build independence, life skills, and community connections Plan activities, outings, and meaningful community engagement Monitor health, safety, and overall well-being of the people in the home Manage household needs (groceries, budgeting support, maintenance requests) Schedule & Living Arrangement Live-in role (Sunday-Thursday nights required) Standard hours:
Sunday-Thursday:
3:00 PM - 9:00
PM Monday-Friday:
6:00 AM - 8:00 AM Includes private bedroom + bathroom Must be available overnight for emergencies What We Offer Hourly pay for all hours worked Free room and board Meaningful, purpose-driven work Ongoing training and professional development Supportive team environment Benefits package What You Bring At least 1 year experience supporting people with disabilities (DSP or similar role) Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Ability to stay calm and flexible in a dynamic environment Basic computer skills (documentation, scheduling, etc.) Commitment to dignity, respect, and person-centered care Requirements Must be 18+ years old High School Diploma or GED Valid Tennessee Driver's License (Class D) Ability to pass background check and MVR TB test within 30 days of hire Maintain CPR, First Aid, and required certifications
