Property Care Director Casago - Norris, TN Live and work in one of America's most iconic vacation destinations! Join the locally-owned team at Casago. We are a dynamic, growing franchise backed by Casago's years of vacation rental expertise. You'll play a pivotal role in lake home cabins surrounding Norris Lake. As Property Care Director, you'll be the trusted partner to property owners, driving property condition, revenue performance, and exceptional guest satisfaction in this high-demand premier cabin market. Position Overview This hybrid salaried role blends office-based strategy and team collaboration with hands-on field work (property inspections, visits, and owner meetings using your personal vehicle). Compensation & Benefits Competitive starting salary: $52,000 ( based on experience and qualifications) Comprehensive full benefits package 401(k) with options Salaried exempt position (40 hours/week expected) 5-day workweek with rotational on-call duties Opportunity to grow with a fast-expanding local leader at Norris Lake Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary, responsive point of contact for property owners—delivering proactive updates, strategic recommendations, and expert guidance on property condition, operations, and revenue optimization.
Oversee daily property readiness:
manage supplies, cleanliness standards, and guest comfort to exceed expectations. Review detailed inspection reports, partner with owners to create and execute high-impact quality improvement and upgrade plans that boost appeal and income. Monitor, prioritize, escalate, and resolve maintenance issues swiftly—pulling daily reports, maintaining meticulous documentation, and minimizing downtime. Conduct property assessments and recommend revenue-enhancing upgrades (furniture, amenities, tech). Lead efficient new property onboarding (target: 7-10 business days) and smooth offboarding processes. Ensure full compliance with short-term rental permitting, renewals, and evolving local regulations. Maintain accurate property data and listings in Breezeway and Guesty; develop owner education resources (videos, guides). Analyze guest feedback trends, implement corrective actions, and keep owners informed with clear insights. Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver seamless, high-touch owner communication and support. Qualifications & Skills Proven track record in property management, short-term/vacation rentals, hospitality, or a closely related field (STR experience highly preferred). Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills for building strong relationships with owners, guests, and vendors. Hands-on proficiency with property management platforms like Breezeway, Guesty (or similar), and video creation tools. Solid understanding of short-term rental regulations, compliance, and best practices. Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a genuine focus on owner and guest satisfaction. Ability to thrive independently while collaborating effectively. Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle required for field responsibilities.
