In this role, you will be the first point of contact for prospective residents and will play a vital role in leasing apartments, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring compliance with housing regulations. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help foster positive relationships with residents while maintaining the operational efficiency of our leasing office. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in property leasing, legal administrative processes, and customer relationship management within a vibrant real estate environment. Bilingual Preferred. Responsibilities Greet prospective tenants professionally and guide them through the leasing process with enthusiasm and clarity Conduct property tours, highlighting features and benefits to upsell available units effectively Manage lease applications, verify applicant information, and process approvals using Yardi or Resman property management software Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, and other legal requirements during all leasing activities Prepare, review, and negotiate lease contracts and related legal documents while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality Maintain accurate data entry for tenant records, rent payments, and maintenance requests; update filing systems accordingly Handle conflict management situations with tact and professionalism, resolving tenant concerns promptly and effectively Skills Strong knowledge housing policies, and landlord-tenant law Proficiency in property management software such as Yardi, Resman, or similar platforms Experience with legal administrative tasks including contracts, lease agreements, and compliance documentation Excellent customer service skills with a friendly phone etiquette and ability to build lasting tenant relationships Familiarity with real estate administrative processes like data entry, filing, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), and facilities management Effective negotiation skills to upsell units and resolve disputes amicably Ability to manage conflict situations calmly while adhering to Fair Housing regulations and company policies Prefer Bilingual Join us to be part of a team that values energetic engagement, transparency, and professional growth.
