- Part-time About the Position We are seeking a dependable, mature, and compassionate Live-In House Manager to oversee the daily operations of a sober living home in Fort Worth.
This is a resident manager position that includes free housing, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to reduce living expenses while making a positive impact in the recovery community. The ideal candidate is organized, responsible, and comfortable maintaining structure, enforcing house rules, and creating a safe, respectful living environment. Responsibilities Live on-site as the resident House Manager. Ensure residents follow house rules, curfews, and recovery expectations. Conduct routine inspections of bedrooms and common areas. Welcome new residents and explain house policies. Monitor the cleanliness and overall condition of the home. Report maintenance issues and coordinate repairs with management. Maintain basic records of resident compliance and any incidents. Perform or supervise random drug and alcohol testing when required. Help resolve resident conflicts professionally and respectfully. Communicate regularly with ownership regarding house operations. Be available to respond to emergencies or urgent situations. Qualifications Must be dependable, organized, and able to enforce rules fairly. Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills. Previous experience in sober living, addiction recovery, residential management, social services, or property management is preferred but not required. Personal recovery experience with at least two years of continuous sobriety is a plus. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred. Must pass a background check.
