Full Job Description LVN Supervisor:
We are looking for exceptional LVN Supervisor for our outstanding Assisted Living community that specializes in Memory Care. This position is for the Director of Resident Services. This is a management position which oversees and supervises caregivers. As an important part of our resident care team, this position will communicate with residents, families, physicians and the executive director. The position is for Monday through Friday and on call those days.
Requirements:
Must have a valid LVN license in good standing with the State of Texas Board of Nursing. Five or more years nursing experience required with two or more years in assisted living or long term care. The LVN that we choose must be able to demonstrate compassion, friendliness, and looking at being part of a team Responsibilities include: Follow Physician Orders Communicate effectively with physicians and families Supervising a team of caregivers Overseeing resident care Documentation and follow up Responsible for training and managing staff While we provide certified medication aides and certified nursing assistants, there will be times when you will have to provide hands on care and pass medications. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about providing resident care and supervising caregivers and CMAs in their roles.
