We are seeking an experienced Leasing Assistant who brings LIHTC compliance knowledge, leasing experience, and operational support skills to help maintain high standards across the community. About Leander Station Senior Village Leander Station Senior Village is a 164-unit affordable senior living community located in Leander, Texas. Our residents enjoy thoughtfully designed apartment homes and amenities including a library, fitness center, beauty salon, arts and crafts room, and regular community programming. We are proud to provide a welcoming environment where seniors feel supported, respected, and connected. Work Schedule Monday-Friday 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM Two Saturdays per month required (with weekday schedule adjustments as applicable) About the Role The Leasing Specialist supports the Community Manager in daily operations, resident relations, leasing activity, rent collections, and Texas Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) compliance administration. This role requires someone who is comfortable balancing compliance responsibilities with resident-facing leasing and office operations. This position plays a key role in keeping the property organized, compliant, and operating smoothly. Primary Responsibilities Assist with processing rental applications, certifications, and annual re-certifications in accordance with Texas LIHTC requirements Prepare and maintain compliance documentation and resident files for audits and reporting Support rent collections, review resident ledgers, and assist with delinquency follow-up Assist with lease renewals and renewal tracking Maintain waiting lists and applicant documentation Support leasing efforts including tours, follow-ups, and application processing Enter and maintain resident and property data within OneSite (RealPage) Respond to resident questions and service requests professionally and timely Assist with outreach marketing and community engagement efforts Help monitor office operations in the absence of the Community Manager Support weekly and monthly reporting as needed Maintain accurate records and organized compliance files Perform additional duties as assigned to support property operations What We're Looking For Minimum 2+ years of multifamily property management experience Minimum 1+ years of LIHTC compliance experience, including certifications and re-certifications Experience with rent collections, renewals, and reading resident ledgers Strong leasing experience and comfort conducting tours and closing leases Working knowledge of OneSite required Experience working in senior housing or with older adults preferred Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy Professional communication skills with residents, vendors, and team members Reliable transportation Benefits Veritee offers a competitive benefits package that includes: Medical, dental, and vision coverage 4% company-matched retirement plan Company-paid life insurance Short-term and long-term disability coverage Generous paid time off Employee wellness incentives 24/7 nurse access support Ongoing training and development programs Quarterly bonus opportunities Why This Role Matters This position is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing compliance work with resident interaction and leasing activity.
