Up to $60,918 annualized, commensurate with education, experience, and qualifications.

Job Details Job Summary The Student Conduct & Community Standards Coordinator coordinates all aspects of the Student Conduct process and related programs/projects as assigned within Student Affairs. This role is responsible for facilitating administrative due process, ensuring compliance with all applicable policies and procedures, and instilling a educational framework within all sanctions assessed by the office. This position requires knowledge of best practices within Student Affairs and Student Development Theory. Core Responsibilities Conducts student conduct meetings and investigations assuring compliance with laws, guidance, UT System and UT San Antonio policies and procedures. Receives, investigates, and processes cases within established parameters from intake to disposition including but not limited to; evidence collection and application and analysis of relevant policies. Responsible for development of learning outcomes and sanctions balancing consistency with individualized, experiential student development. Responsible for timely and accurate casework, updated database completion and participation in conduct hearings in various roles. Creates and promotes academic and behavioral programming and presentations within campus community. Establishes, cultivates, and maintains active partnerships with on and off campus entities to monitor workflow, consistency and compliance with university policies and procedures. Exercises initiative and judgement as a resource and administrative liaison to campus community regarding student conduct matters. Interprets and communicates institutional and system policies and procedures to students in consultation with Director, Associate Dean of Students, Legal Affairs and UT System Office of General Counsel with regard to student conduct matters. Evaluates policies and procedures and contribute recommendations to the Director. Assists with coordination of resources and services to students when multiple offices are involved. Provides backup assistance to Student Conduct supervisors and staff as guided by Director. Supports programs, events and initiatives sponsored by Student Affairs. Support university-wide programs including but not limited to; Roadrunner Days, Homecoming and Commencement. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in a related field. Three (3) years of related work experience. This position requires the ability to maintain the security and integrity of UT San Antonio and its infrastructure per Texas
EO-GA-48.
Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree in Higher Education, Student Affairs Administration, Education, or related field. 2 years of experience as a Graduate Assistant in higher education setting providing direct service to students may be substituted for one-year related experience. Experience as a Graduate Assistant in counseling, student conduct, fraternity and sorority life, or social work. Case management and database experience. Maxient Database experience. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Communication Collaboration Problem Solving Confidentiality Working Conditions Office Environment. Ability to travel to and from meetings, training sessions or other business-related events. Workdays, areas, and work hours may vary based on the needs of the department. Physical Demands Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. This position will work primarily on campus . Travel and parking expenses are the employee's responsibility. This position is contingent upon a successful background check. Verification of a valid driver's license and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) may be completed as applicable.
